Fans of the progressive knockout (PKO) format will be delighted to know that PokerStars is hosting another edition of its popular Bounty Builder Series which kicks off in two days’ time, on October 15. The next few weeks will be pretty busy for PKO enthusiasts, with the series set to award $20 million in guarantees across nearly 170 events.

The latest edition of the Bounty Builder Series runs from October 15-30, featuring a total of 169 events. There will be an event for all bankrolls, with buy-ins ranging from $5.50 all the way up to $5,200. There are plenty of options for those on the hunt for high-value poker games, as the schedule includes multiple $5.50 events with up to $30K in guarantees and lots of $11 buy-in events with guarantees of up to $150K.

As usual, the Main Event serves as the main highlight of the series, and this October, there are three Main Events scheduled, two of which have seven-figure guarantees.

The first Main Event has a buy-in of $109 and will be played in the two-card NLHE format. The tournament features a $1 million guarantee. A bigger-buy-in version of this event, which costs $1,050 to enter, comes with $1.25 million in guaranteed prize money, the largest guarantee of the series. Both events will commence on Oct 29.

A third Main Event, to be played as four-card PLO, runs on the same day. Players will compete for $80K in guarantees for a buy-in of $215.

The two Main Events are among the four tournaments on the schedule offering at least $1 million in guarantees. The other two are special edition Sunday Million events with buy-ins of $109 and $215. Both take place on October 15, with $1 million in guaranteed prizes up for grabs.

The October series marks the second time that PokerStars is hosting the PKO festival this year. The March edition ended successfully, with the operator also awarding $20 million in guarantees. The biggest-guaranteed events in the previous schedule included two Main Events with $2.25 million in combined guarantees, and a couple of special edition Sunday Million tourneys each with a $1 million guarantee.
