When most people think of young, rising stars in the poker industry they cannot refrain from mentioning Victor Blom, better known as “Isildur1“. But recently Blom has been absent from PokerStars tables and there has not been much word as to why. Last weekend he returned and won $1.5 million, which is more than most people have made this entire year. During the past three months or so most people began thinking that Blom and PokerStars were no longer going to be d with each other. The speculation grew when neither PokerStars or Blom made any statements regarding his absence. Blom is a very good young player and it is safe to say that a lot of others players were not exactly mourning the fact that he was not playing. After his winnings last weekend, he has now boosted his total for the year to a whopping $1.9 million, which ranks amongst the highest amongst PokerStars pros. We are still waiting on an explanation as to why Blom was in hiding for three months, but as long as he is back I suppose that is all that matters. If he keeps posting numbers like these in the next few weeks, he will easily lead all PokerStars pros in yearly winnings. Now is a great time to play at PokerStars too. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and are offering all sorts of great promotions and deals. They are giving away money, prizes, and even trips to poker events around the world. PokerStars has been the household name in the industry for some time now, but now is as good a time as ever to play. b6e4n
