There is a new type of poker tournament at PokerStars which is gaining a lot of attention. It’s called the Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) and will host 50 events taking place from January 19th through the 29th in the new year, 2012. Every one of the 10 day series will have at least 4 events with most days having more than that. The great thing about this series is that buy-ins range from big to small, being as small as $5 to as large as the $2100 buy-in event that will be held on January 29th.The series consists primarily of No Limit Hold’em poker games, but some other games are mixed in as well. The theme is “turbo” and all the games and qualifiers are very fast paced. PokerStars is going to be giving away over $10,000,000 over the duration of the Championship. There is a Main Event in which you can win up to $1,500,000; talk about some spending cash.
