The ongoing PokerStars’ MicroMillions is nearing its conclusion, with the latest renewal of the popular low-stakes tournament set to close on November 29. The festival has been attracting sizable fields so far, with the total prize pool almost reaching the $2.5 million mark as of November 26. 344s7

Let’s take a look at the latest updates in the ongoing PokerStars tournament.

The festival kicked off on November 19, and so far a total of 73 tournaments are now in the books.

More than half a million entries have been recorded, 585,164 to be exact, including 107,837 re-entries.

The huge turnout across eight days generated a massive prize pool of $2,468,673.51, with a combined top prize of $243,085.49, including bounties.

The countries leaderboard is currently being led by Russia with 14 titles, followed by Brazil (12), Canada (9), Greece (6), and Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine and Romania each holding 3 titles. , Hungary, Lithuania, and Czech Republic each has won 2 titles so far, while Denmark, Belarus, Argentina, Mexico, Poland, Krygyzstan, Mongolia, Vietnam, Slovenia, Slovakia, the UK and Sweden have 1.

The top 3 biggest prize pools so far were recorded in Event #38: $5.50 NLHE Half Price Sunday Storm which attracted 47,989 entries and was won by “EqualizeSTAR” for $22,006.25; Event #14: $11 NLHE PKO Daily Highlight with 21,587 entries and was taken down by “VaiPahOnde” for $13,813.35; and Event #4: $11 NLHE Opener Event which pulled in 18,729 entries and was won by “zinc95” for $19,129.53.

The players achieving the biggest ROI thus far were Lithuania’s “Bumbols” who turned his $1.10 investment into $5,700.88 in Event #39: $1.10 NLHE 8-Max Splash, “andreas8866” of Brazil who won $5,347.17 also for a buy-in of $1.10, and Hungarian player “kisberki” who also transformed his $1.10 into $5,064.51 in winnings in Event #68: $1.10+R NLHE 8Max Daily Highlight Splash.

One of the latest events to have played out was MicroMillions #52, a $5.50 buy-in NLHE Turbo. The tournament was dominated by the Canadians, with six of the final eight hailing from the world’s second largest country. The event was taken down by “DrLedZepplin” for $2,120.66.

It’s also worth-noting that there’s been a growing number of winners outside the dominant countries. Earlier this week, “ducnh123987” from Vietnam scooped the $3.30 NLHE event for $752.14.

The central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan also recorded strong participation numbers, with one of its players, “Nurleone” also booking a victory in Event #54: 8-Max PKO.
