The main highlight of the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the $10,000 WSOP Main Event which is already underway at the Rio in Las Vegas. The WSOP Main Event features a total of six starting flights, four of which have already completed. The 2021 WSOP Main Event will crown a winner on November 17. 281a5t

So far, the event has attracted over 4,500 players from all over the world, and that number is expected to increase significantly with the addition of two Day 1s which will conclude on November 9.

The easing of travel restrictions into the US will also help boost the numbers, which could make this year’s Main Event one of the biggest in WSOP history.

More participants will travel to Vegas for a once-in-a-lifetime shot to become a WSOP Main Event champion, including the 251 players who qualified via GGPoker’s Road to Vegas promo, which kicked off back in August. These players secured a seat into the Main Event through direct buy-ins, online qualifiers, and via ClubGG, GGPoker’s subscription-based online poker platform.

Out of the 251 players who will be wearing a GGPoker patch at the Rio for the Main Event, 45 of them earned a ticket through ClubGG. The sweepstakes online poker site was launched in November 2020, giving players the chance to play tournaments for free, or expand their tournament options by paying a fixed monthly subscription fee. This eliminates the need for them to pay for tournaments individually.

Players can take part in qualifying tournaments as many times as they wish for a flat fee of only $49.99 per month, giving them the opportunity to win huge prizes for a more affordable price.

Moreover, with the site adopting a sweepstakes model, players can win real money prizes without having to worry about strict gambling rules. Thus, ClubGG can legally operate even in countries or areas where online poker is not allowed, including dozens of states in the US.

U.S players are enjoying what ClubGG has to offer, and the numbers don’t lie. Of the 251 who secured a seat into the Main Event, 46 of them are from the US. The innovative platform has quickly gained steam and could very well achieve huge success, contrary to similar sites before it which also tried the sweepstakes model but did not take off.
