The $5,200 NLHE PKO Titans event pulled in a total of 154 entries to generate $770,000 in total prize pool. Some of the best players in the game took a shot, including PokerStars ambassadors Benjamin “Spraggy ” Spragg and Sam “SamSquid” Grafton, as well as English pro Conor “1 conor b 1” Beresford and SCOOP champ Elias “SinKarma” Gutierrez.

Unfortunately, each of those players did not make it to the final action. Gratfon went the furthest, finishing in 10th place to set the final table. This year, the $5,200 Titans event was played as a PKO, meaning there were bounties at stake apart from the regular prize pool.

Felipe “lipe piv” Boianovsky was the first to leave the nine-handed final table, finishing 9th for $11,363. The Brazilian pro also won $18,125 in bounties to take home $29,488 in total prize. Next to go was another Brazilian, Pedro “PaDiLhA SP” Padilha, who won $47,786 in total prize for finishing 8th.

L. Veldhuis aka Lex Veldhuis exited in seventh place and his payout inclusive of bounties was $27,127. The Belgian pro yet again failed in his quest to win his first SCOOP title. Denmark’s Jonathan “x_zola25” Skovsen was eliminated in 6th place for a total prize of $38,400, followed by Bulgaria’s milanov888 who finished 5th for a total prize of $41,061.

Malta’s Haringbuis settled for 4th, walking away with $47,719 in total earnings, while Polish player retro_cheetah01 finished 3rd for $60,613.

Patrick Leonard had been the dominant player all along, eliminating six of his opponents, the last one being Poland’s PAX176 who entered heads-up play against Leonard with a 7-1 chip deficit. In the final hand, Leonard’s full house demolished PAX176’s straight to win his seventh SCOOP title for $197,115 in total prize, including $126,093 in bounties. PAX176 took home $81,334 for finishing second.

Leonard’s latest victory further cemented his reputation as one of the top online poker players in the world. The partypoker ambassador has also found huge success at the live felts with nearly $2.8 million in total live cashes. But that figure is dwarfed by his online poker earnings which currently stand at more than $18.5 million, according to PokerStake.
