The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is returning to London after more than a decade which should delight UK poker players. The WSOP will host a major festival in the UK capital this July just after the live series in Las Vegas.
The WSOP Super Circuit Series, which will take place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, will award 15 gold rings.

The WSOP will host the Super Circuit Series in London in partnership with GGPoker. The series will run from July 27 to August 13.
The full schedule of the festival has yet to be released but it’s confirmed there will be 15 WSOP Circuit gold rings up for grabs, with event buy-ins ranging from £560 to £10,400.
According to WSOP’s press release, the London event will be the first stop of the new 2023/2024 WSOPC season.
The series will be headlined by the Main Event which comes with a £3,300 buy-in. The other key events confirmed so far on the schedule are as follows: £560 WSOP Super Circuit Series Colossus, £1,100 WSOP Super Circuit Series Mystery Million and £10,400 WSOP Super Circuit Series High Roller. Organizers are expected to announce more events in the weeks ahead.
Players will get the chance to qualify for the events for a more affordable price via online satellites taking place exclusively on GGPoker. Satellite buy-ins are expected to begin at less than $1.

While London has been left out of the WSOP calendar for several years, there’s been no shortage of live poker action in the city. The European Poker Tour (EPT) returned to the UK capital last year, with the Main Event pulling in more than 700 entries. The popular Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) has also been hosting events in the city since the re-opening of the live poker scene following the pandemic.
