There’s no doubt that mobile gaming is the next great frontier in online poker. It seems that nearly every week, one poker site or another is adding new games to their mobile poker room, expanding their mobile offerings to a new country, or updating their software with a new and innovative feature. Now, Switch Poker has made a huge leap in what mobile poker room apps can do, adding single screen multitabling to the iPad version of their software.Switch Poker was the first online poker room designed specifically for use on mobile devices, so it’s not surprise to see them a little bit ahead of the curve. The room had already allowed Android s to view four tables on the same screen, but that was not a feature that was yet available in the iPad version of their software. While other poker rooms allow for multitabling on the iPad, Switch Poker is the only room with software allowing all four tables on the screen at the same time, meaning players won’t have to “tab out” to see each table.“Previously, the app allowed four tables to be played at once, but only one table could be displayed at a time,” said a spokesperson for Switch Poker. “Now all four can be placed on screen at a time.”“As this feature helps players play more hands more quickly we are going to run a ‘hands race’ as part of the launch,” the spokesperson added. The hands race will take place beginning on June 1, and end on June 5. The top 10 finishers will share a total of €1,000 in prize money. The new feature was made possible by using high-resolution graphics which take advantage of the iPad’s retina display. Along with the new feature, Switch Poker also added more games to their room, including six-max no-limit hold’em tables and €10/€20 heads up tables, which are now the highest stakes available on the site. 5j4e3i
